(OP)
Are there any such AHUs avialable which have built in sound attenuators. Meaning inside the AHU body, immediately after the blower fan...there is sound attenuators. Thanks

RE: Built in sound attenuators in AHU

In one word: Yes.

RE: Built in sound attenuators in AHU

This surely is listed in Mfg catalog information.

You will have to do some work and read the catalog...........

RE: Built in sound attenuators in AHU

(OP)
Where are these located inside AHU, how about having any impact on the static pressure. Usually what capacity AHUs do have these ?

RE: Built in sound attenuators in AHU

AHU's will be built to the exact specification you need.
AHU's are not a standard product.

Therefore, every component of the AHU is engineered to meet the requirements for temperatures, filters, pressures and sound attenuation.

RE: Built in sound attenuators in AHU

Zesti is correct.

If you specify an outlet pressure and airflow rate, the AHU will be designed to meet your needs. You can get attenuators built in for virtually any size system. Contact some manufacturers in your area.

Best to you,

Goober Dave
