Can any one advise me on the choosing of bolt to join Mg casting? Is Zinc plated steel bolt good enough? The working temperature is 350oC in the air.

RE: Galvanic corrosion proof bolt to Mg

There will be no galvanic corrosion under the conditions you describe so you can choose any bolting material you need that meets the mechanical limitations for the Mg.  Galvanic corrosion requires a shared electrolyte between the two dissimilar metals.  This would seem to be impossible here, even when the eqi uipment cools down.

Happy bolting!
