hi,

for piping flange leakage calculations, how much flange allowable stress multiplier can be considered as per code?

RE: flange leakage

Your question is not at all clear.

What is your Code of Construction? What exactly do you mean by "flange leakage calculations"? And, in that respect, what is the context of the "flange allowable stress multiplier"?

RE: flange leakage

EN-1591 / EN 13445 Appendix G has some guidance regarding prevention of leakage in flanged joints. It's helpful to have a PhD if you want to understand it.

RE: flange leakage

Dear Kunal01,
Maybe a more practical approach since in my experience flanges always leak or sweat in the long run. There are numerous of flange-belts that can act either as a leak detection or as a drainage in insulated piping.
