[NX 8.5] Error: Invalid Navigator History File Name

[NX 8.5] Error: Invalid Navigator History File Name

[NX 8.5] Error: Invalid Navigator History File Name

(OP)
When I want to save the files created in advanced or motion simulation, I get the error "Invalid File Name History Navigator". After several accept this error, program saves the files. This error is repeated each time when I want to save the files in the simulation. Reset the settings to customer defaults and reinstall does not help. Can someone help?

RE: [NX 8.5] Error: Invalid Navigator History File Name

Sounds like it's time to call GTAC.

Solved!
The problem was with the Polish symbols which I had in user name.
If someone has a problem: you must create a new user without Polish or mayby any other language characters.
History file is located in:
C:\Users\YourName\AppData\local\Unigraphics Solutions\NX85\history.pax
Program could not save history in a folder with Polish characters.
Cheers!

RE: [NX 8.5] Error: Invalid Navigator History File Name

If you were allowed to enter the invalid file name using a normal NX function and this resulted in a problem with the 'History' PAX file, then this needs to be reported as a potential error since this is not how NX is intended to work. The rule is that while text and annotation can support extended character sets, such as found with European accent and special symbols, file names used by NX are limited to the so-called 'ASCII' character set, which does NOT include these.
