Hi everyone,

What is the product form used for Nozzle necks as per ASME Section II Part D. Appreciatte your answers in advance.

Thanks.

RE: Nozzle Neck Product from

There is not enough information given to determine the appropriate answer. Pipe is a fairly common material for nozzle necks, but it could be welded or seamless, and any number of different alloys. For Long Weld Neck type connections, it is usually a forging.

RE: Nozzle Neck Product from

virata, pipe, plate & forging are most often used. Depends on size, configuration, etc.

Regards,

Mike
