Solid Edge Missing In Drawing View

Solid Edge Missing In Drawing View

Solid Edge Missing In Drawing View

(OP)
I have an assembly I am detailing. There are two parts that have edges that will now show up in the view. I have moved the parts off the assembly to see if there is an interference, but there is none. I have modified the view settings, sillouhettes, hidden lines, smooth edges, virtual intersections, etc. with no success. The odd thing is when I turn the hidden lines to dash or any font outside of invisible, the lines show up as invisible, even though there is no interference.

Has anyone ever some across this issue? If so, how did you fix it?

Thanks.

RE: Solid Edge Missing In Drawing View

Could you provide at least some images of what you're seeing?

RE: Solid Edge Missing In Drawing View

My guess is there is part interference in the assembly someplace, but an image would help.

RE: Solid Edge Missing In Drawing View

I don't know if this will help but I've often run into this as an "edge on edge" display problem.

You can fix it by turning hidden lines off in the view, VDE the line in question (which should show up now) to a solid line (instead of original), turn hidden lines back on and VDE object segments to "invisible" if necessary.
