How to attach a wireframe (I-Deas attach function in NX)

How to attach a wireframe (I-Deas attach function in NX)

How to attach a wireframe (I-Deas attach function in NX)

(OP)
I have the following problem.
I would like to copy a spline from one part (Part 1) to another part (Part 2) and attach it to the spline that already exist in this part. The splines have a similar shapes but a different scale and I would like the spline from part 2 to adapt to the shape of the spline that was just copied. Both parts are in the same assembly and part 2 has a wave links with other instances in the assembly. All the links between the part 2 and other instances in the assembly have to maintain. I could do it by manually fixing all the links it the other parts but it is a very time consuming method. In I-Deas there was a dedicated funcion called attach which allowed for merging the wireframes of two different parts. Is there any similar function in NX that could be helpful here?

Thank you in advance for your help.

If you're not interested in them being associative you could just do a Copy & Paste from one file to another. And once copied over, you can then use...

Edit -> Curve -> Shape by Template...

...to change one curve to match the shape and parameterization of the other.

Thanks for your reply. I actually tried to use the function shape by template however it seems that this allows only to adapt the shape of one curve to match another. In my case I would like to have the curve that is identical to the "template" curve so it should have a same shape as well as size. Is there any other option that would allow for "wraping" one curve with respect to another?
Thanks.

You could create/extract a series of points on the first curve and then edit the second curve using those points as new defining points for the second.
