(OP)
Good morning sirs,

I was asked to verify (with calculations) if an existing VOC air stripper (never run and still not complete) unit is capable to run with a new water flowrate and composition. The polluted water is sent to an air stripper, then the rich air is sent to an adsorber - rigenerator unit and then to charcoal filters before going to the atmosphere.

Moreover I've been asked to model the entire system with a process simulator for a sensitivity analysis. I have PFD's, P&ID's, an Operating manual and several datasheets and supply specs.

How would you proceed for the two phases? Would you use the simulator to verify the plant or you would verify piece by piece the equipments and then set up the simulation?

Thank you in advance

Alessio
