Dimension Window

Dimension Window

Dimension Window

(OP)
Just started using 2013 and I'm finding the Dimension Window is giving me some headaches.
I'm asking (trying to find out) if others are experiencing this or is it something particular
to my system and perhaps a setting acting strangely. When adding a dimension the window pops
up and the spin bar lays right over the buttons. I find myself having to wrestle with the spin
bar to get it out of the way and view the buttons to accept a dimension, restore it...and so on.
Kind of drag. I don't remember having this in 2012.... please see attached screen capture.

Thanks for your insights.

RE: Dimension Window

running SW2013 for few weeks now and haven't encountered this.

Looks like a bad install. Do you've any other system doing the same? If yes then completely uninstall and do a fresh install if you can.

RE: Dimension Window

Try going to the display control panel and looking for the screen that controls text size. It has 3 options, Smaller - 100%, Medium - 125%, Larger - 150%. Select smaller and see if your problem goes away. I have seem some software not layout correctly at the larger sizes. If that fixes your problem, you will have to decide which you would rather deal with, small text or misaligned dialogues.

I do not have 2013 installed, so I cannot test the behavior here.

thank you both for the help.
EEnd.... I tried your suggestion first (since that was less effort than uninstalling and reinstalling SW)
I changed the text size to medium, it was set on high.... and .... lo and behold, makes a huge difference.
The dimension dialogue window is now what I remember it being .... manageable. I had some other issues
with windows overlapping information, making that information unreadable. I'll see if making the text size change
solves that issue as well. Thanks very much for the suggestion.
