Zoom and angle redering
Zoom and angle redering
(OP)
I am pretty new to the rendering side of things. I have been fudging for a year or so but now I need to create a bunch of renderings of product and everything needs to be stadardized. I have about 10 products that I need to render and the scale of the products all needs to be the same. I also need to get the parts all oriented at the same angles. I can handle the angle orientation but how do I set the zoom.

For your need, insert all the parts into one single assembly. Now set the orientation and zoom as required. Hide all except one. run the rendering, then hide that and show second. Repeat.

How many total Orientation Views can you have before crashing out SolidWorks I believe this was still an issue in 212 I think it went to 24-32 or so then it went Crashy-Crashy. I may be wrong but I remember someone mentioning this as an issue at a SWUG meeting.

RE: Zoom and angle redering
I had never used cameras before I would just get a good view on the screen and then render. I sure wish there were some tutorials on Photoview. I only use it about once every couple of months but it is usually a rush job so I never really get time to actually learn the software it is more of get it good enough. Although it is good enough that people like the renders better than the actual pictures of the parts.
Thank you everyone for your feed back and help,
Glenn
