Stress-Strain Relationship Vs Moment Curvature Equation

Stress-Strain Relationship Vs Moment Curvature Equation

Stress-Strain Relationship Vs Moment Curvature Equation

(OP)
I'm currently struggling with the subject, and this is related to OFFPIPE software. In some discussions that I have had, some group of engineers informed me that R-O coefficient (α) and exponent (β) are the same as the value of A and B in the moment-curvature relationship, whilst some groups were against the understanding i.e. A and B shall be calculated based on α and β values. Can somebody please enlighten me on this issue.

Thank you very much for your time and help.

RE: Stress-Strain Relationship Vs Moment Curvature Equation

Why don't you calculate the Moment vs. Curvature curve externally by another program and provide it to your analysis application?

Analysis and Design of arbitrary cross sections
Reinforcement design to all major codes
Moment Curvature analysis
