superelement- would it be helpful to use it in my simulation ?

(OP)
Hi
I am not experienced in Patran. Most of the simulation I am doing in Ansys but these are complicated- I would need to write APDL script for it. I would like to ask you about you opinion.
I have simple a simple simulation of shaft (shaft consist of 4 sections , exactly the same sections). On the end of the shaft I need load vertical force and Torque (around shaft axis).
I am considering to model quarter of the shaft and for the rest of the shaft use superelement.
Look at the attachment.
Can I do that in Pantran (without spending one week with it :) and get realistic results ?
Best Regards
