Hey all,
Does anyone have experience with this flavor steel? A286 mfr. per SAE AMS 5726 Apparently it is supposed to have a UTS = 200 ksi...Is this the strongest steel available?

Well...no, for corrosion-resistant steels there are other PH steels and nickel/iron superalloys with higher achievable tensile strengths, and there are other steels and alloys with UTS approaching 300 ksi.
