Wildfire 2.0 on Windows 7 64-bit, crash when edit a drawing

(OP)
I am running an old Wildfire 2.0 (M240) 32 bit and Intralink 3.4.
My company has invested in a new computer for me,
HP Z420 Windows 7 64-bit with NVIDIA Quadro 2000.
After a few adjustements in two of the intralink-files, all are up and running and work just fine.
Except when i open a drawing an try to change a dimension (right-klick and propertis).
Poff!! Pro/E has crashed.
I am not able to update in to newer software. (Company policy)
Pleas help me what to do??

RE: Wildfire 2.0 on Windows 7 64-bit, crash when edit a drawing

Wildfire 2 is not certified for Win7-64. You maybe SOL!

Have you tried creating a new drawing, placing a view and dimensioning that. Then try the edit. That will at least eliminate some of the problem reasons.

Now i have tried to first create and then edit a new drawing. Same result.
Quick exit.

Have you tried an update to your graphics drivers. I would download and install the latest from Nvidia's website. If this still fails, You may need to go back to a XP-32bit system for WF2.
