Cold storage evaporating coolers !

I am in the process of  designing a cold storage room, where should I provide the disconnect switch for the evaporating coolers (2 nos) and lighting fixtures. Should it be inside the cold storage room or outside.

RE: Cold storage evaporating coolers !

Do you mean disconnect or on/off switch?

RE: Cold storage evaporating coolers !

(OP)
In case of evaporating coolers, it would be disconnect switch, but in case of lighting fixture...it has to be on / off switch.

RE: Cold storage evaporating coolers !

Disconnect switch should be mounted within sight of the motor controlled. What is the Hp of the motor?
On/off switch where you feel like it.
