Welding Stainless Steel to Maintain Corrosion Resistance
Welding Stainless Steel to Maintain Corrosion Resistance
(OP)
What is the history behind limiting heat input to 60kJ/in the welding of stainless steel (TP 304) to prevent sensitization/ maintain corrosion resistance in the as welded condition? Is it related to grain growth or ferrite?
Thank you in advance.
Thank you in advance.
