I can't get my centerlines to look good

I can't get my centerlines to look good

I can't get my centerlines to look good

How do you get centerlines on a SolidWorks drawing to simply have a LONG-short-LONG piece, and that's it!?? (not keep repeating).

Is there any easy way to get them to look right? Thanks.

Then I end up with LONG-short-LONG-short-LONG-short-LONG. I just want a slightly more stretched out LONG-short-LONG.

I've been doing this for a LONG time and in my opinion any centerline over a certain length should repeat the long-short-long sequence, as shown at the top. I see nothing wrong with that at all.

RE: I can't get my centerlines to look good

The repeat pattern of a centreline should be consistent, otherwise it would be classed as a different type of line.

However, custom line patterns can be created at Tools > Options > Document Properties > Line Style
