Feature Manager Background Color

Don't know why I'm having a difficult time finding the answer to this.... is there
a way to change the background color to the Feature Manager Design Tree? Doesn't seem
to be an option under "colors" in the system options dialogue box.... thanks

RE: Feature Manager Background Color

No, that option was removed several versions ago.

hmmmm.... drag. I figured as much since I was
having such a hard time finding the answer.
Well... thanks anyway, CBL. Appreciate it.

personal preference.... I'd like a white background instead of the gray. I think it would be easier to read.

RE: Feature Manager Background Color

I used to like being able to change the background color, too. It's been probably five years since they did away with that. I've since gotten used to it, but it's taken a while.

RE: Feature Manager Background Color

Why??? , because it's Horibble I liked the way it used to behave pre 2008 where you could match them up. It's hard enough to have to set up my dark backgrounds custom each time but still have the lame SolidWorks Gradient color. SolidWorks should follow Windows color settings but that has yet to occur. Put in an Rehancement request for the capability to be resumed. SolidWorks took out the Scroll Bars on the bottom and side which I never use due to spacepilot but they decided to bring that one back.

Gradients are a performance nightmare!

The Status bar uses black text regardless of your windows color settings.

If or When they bring it back I'll play the following song.
Spinal Tap - back from the dead - Track 02 - "back from the dead"
I have the movie "This is Spinal Tap" and recomend it to any of you if like Mockumentaries.
