Is it effective to apply Molykote 1000 paste on bolts coated with Xylan? Molykote does not contain any Sulphur-based compound unlike traditional anti-seize pastes.

Which Xylan formulation? Generally speaking, fluoropolymer coatings have very low friction and do not require an anti-seize paste or similar thread lubricant.

I don't know the exact Xylan product being questioned. But yes i was referring to fluoropolymer coatings. Anyway, is it common for xylan-coated bolts' threads to experience corrosion due to the threads being worn out from abrasion?

The coatings can be degraded in the threaded regions due to repeated make and break cycles. How does the corrodent reach the threads? You may need to adjust the internal thread surface roughness, may need to use a special version of Xylan that is more wear resistant, or maybe choose a different coating.
