electrical contact resistance between graphite and copper

electrical contact resistance between graphite and copper

electrical contact resistance between graphite and copper

(OP)
Hi Folks,

Does anyone have any data on electrical contact resistance for graphite to copper as well as graphite to graphite. The surface finish is spec out to 1.6 surface finish for graphite and 0.8 surface for the copper. Meaning smooth surfaces for low psi contact of 27 psi.

Thank you for your help!!

Rick

RE: electrical contact resistance between graphite and copper

Heat transfer resistance between the copper and the graphite, or electric current resistance between the copper and graphite?

or both - as the surface heats up the electric resistance (and thermal resistance ?) both change until failure of the brush under load?
