I am a little bit confuging to use ASME and ANSI Code in specifications.

When we use these codes in specifications, I want to know about exact use of these codes,for example, ASME/ANSI B.31.3 is correct or ASME B 31.3 is correct? otherwise both of them can be used ?)

In addition, in case of flange ratings (for example ASME B.16.5 CLASS 300 RFWN or ANSI B I6.5 CLASS 3OO RFWN}

RE: ASME/ANSI

It depends on the date of issue - more of the standards are "ASME" now that were formerly ANSI or ASME/ANSI

RE: ASME/ANSI

See ASME VIII Div. 1 : U-1(e)(1)(a)-(b)-(c)
