Drawing is not Creating when save a copy of Assemly

(OP)
Hello.
Here i got a problem during working in pro E. When i save a copy of an assembly there not comes associated drawing with assembly and part therefore i ticked on copy associated drawings and i also checked there is loaded the option of rename drawing with object(both)in configuration. kindly tell me the solution.before this problem it was doing alright save copy with associated drawing.

RE: Drawing is not Creating when save a copy of Assemly

The rename option only works when both the drawing & model have the same name.

If this isn't your problem, we would need more information (version/build of ProE, any PDM, etc).

Also, both the drawing and assembly have to be loaded in memory when you do the rename.

Yeah Ben. Wow is that still an issue probably another reason PTC can use to push Windchill on it's customers.
At Least SolidWorks has tools like SolidWorks Explorer which make interrogating relationships easier. Even the Pack & Go of SolidWorks is a lot more User Friendly.
