g6 fit and 316L

(OP)
80mm + 0.03H7 Bore and shaft 80mm +0 -0.05 parts are with in tolerance but the stickyness of the material make it hard to assemble. i.e ne need a hammer to force it in. Once it the part can rotate freely. What do you guy do to slacken of the tolerance or would it be better to go to a g6 H7 fit

RE: g6 fit and 316L

80H7 = 80 +0/+35
80h8 = 80 +0/-54
It should go together but in practice if both dia. are close to the low/high limit you could have a sticking problem. This would be the case with any H on h fit.
H7/g6 would be a good choice for a tight running fit with a clearance ranging from +12 to +69.
