there is a an induction motor conntected to a plastic bottle head cutter and recently it has been giving loose drive with belt spippage.how am i supposed to tighten the belt ?remove the belt and increase the distance and then fix the belt or what?

New belt or move pulleys apart??

Or add a tensioner (idler pulley on a spring loaded mount, or adjustable mount). See the other belt thread in this forum.
