Drafting - Custom Symbol - odd problem

Drafting - Custom Symbol - odd problem

Drafting - Custom Symbol - odd problem

(OP)
Hi,

I'm trying to create a Custom Symbol in the Drafting module. I'm doing the exact same proceedure as my collegues, and it works on their computers but not on mine.

In the Define Symbol Window I can choose to place my new symbol under 1) "Custom Symbol Library / Part Symbols" or 2) "Custom Symbol Library / Part Symbols / Migrated Symbols". One of my collegues can only place symbols under 1) and the other collegue only under 2). I was able to place a symbol under 2), but only once.

When I try to create additional symbols in either 1) or 2) they do seem to be saved somewhere (because NX complains when I attempt to save subsequent symbols using previously used symbol names), but the symbols cannot be found/retreived/used. The first symbol I was able to produce under 2) is listed and can be used in the drafting.

This seems fishy to me. How do I fix this problem so that I can use Custom Symbols?

/hpon
