Modified Differential
Modified Differential
(OP)
Hi All;
I would not design a system this way but this is the current situation: I have a D-Y X-former with double lugs on the sec. feeding 2 gears. The first gear has a 5A cont. NGR. The second gear also has an NGR (2A cont.). I know I have 2 paths to ground since both are connected to the neutral point of the X-former. I am wondering if there is a way to keep both NGR’s – In particular, I do not have experience with modified differential and was wondering if it could be applied here.
Thanks.

I was thinking to do nothing - The only issue I see with this is possibly alarming the fault from one of the gears in the other making it difficlut to find the source of the fault. Do you see any other issues with this?
