SWUG-Simcoe Meeting 2012-12-06

(OP)

****** SWUG-Simcoe ******

It’s that time again…

The next SWUG-Simcoe meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 6th of December 2012 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm and will be held at the Holly Community Centre in Barrie.
http://www.barrie.ca/Living/RecreationFacilities/C...
This venue may be changed, so please check the following links to be kept informed.

Agenda;

5:30 – 6:00 … Greet, Eat & Meet – A social time to get to know one another over snacks & soft drinks

6:00 – 8:30 … “What Is Really New In SolidWorks 2013” by Alin Vargatu.
“The presentation will go beyond the official SolidWorks What’s New videos by trying to find interesting and time saving applications for the new functionality. Furthermore, the audience will be invited to participate in a brainstorming session in order to discover new ways for using the new tools and techniques introduced by SolidWorks.”

8:45 – 9:00 … Swag giveaways & meeting feedback

The only requirement to attend these FREE SEMINARS is to have some basic knowledge of SolidWorks (or other CAD software). If you have any questions or issues, please bring them with you and get first hand support in finding a resolution. Other professionals will be attending and you will be able to exchange knowledge and expertise.

Please note that this is a voluntary technical group meeting and NOT a marketing event; but networking and sharing knowledge will be encouraged. There are a limited number of seats available so please register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Remember registration and attendance is FREE … in fact you could leave with more than you brought. We are seeking sponsors to encourage participation by donating door prizes, gift certificates, gas cards etc. Please inform the Group Leaders (listed below) if you or your company are willing to participate as sponsors, or just attending.

If you have suggestions or ideas to make this event even more interesting and successful, the Group Leaders (Michael Fernando & Kelvin Lamport) can be contacted via SWUG.Simcoe@gmail.com

You can also join one or all of the following groups and leave comments or questions.
