NX8.5 Remember previous state in sketch

NX8.5 Remember previous state in sketch

NX8.5 Remember previous state in sketch

(OP)
Hi all,

I am running the new NX8.5 for two weeks and I have a question if anyone can help me.

I can remember that in NX8.0 I could change the selection scope (attached picture) to "Within Work Part" and remember the selection afterwards. Now If I open a new session of NX, I must reselect it. It is not a big deal but maybe it is something that I am missing.

Thanks,

Spada

RE: NX8.5 Remember previous state in sketch

Running NX 8.0.3.4 and NX 8.5.1.1 (first phase of the first MR) I see no difference in this behavior from one release to the other. Please note that this setting is remembered not so much by the Sketcher task as it is by the various Insert -> Curve -> functions themselves.

Dear John,

Thank you for your reply. I am running the NX 8.5.023 version. The state ("Within Work Part") I want it to remember, is when I try to dimension a curve which was created within the sketch with an edge for example of a face (which was created before). If I reopen the NX the selection scope (Insert -> Dimensions -> Inferred) returns to "Within Active Sketch".

Thanks,

Spada
