Fire Rating: Metal Stud Joists & Concrete Floor

Fire Rating: Metal Stud Joists & Concrete Floor

(OP)
Can anyone point me in the right direction.

We are hoping to use a floor system of cold-formed metal studs (14" deep @ 2'-0" o.c. max) & 0.6C non-composite roof deck with 2.4" of normal weight concrete (3" total slab thickness). We need a 1 hour fire rating. From what I can tell, the IBC does not include this assembly in Table 721.1.

Has anyone used this assembly? Where did you find the fire rating?

Thanks

Try snooping around on the UL site here: UL Fire rating assemblies

As JAE pointed out, UL publishes these books which are expensive though. I used to have a set of these and much to my chagrine I donated those to a local library, hopefully, not in vain.

You can find a lot of their assemblies and ratings at the link I posted above.
