Scour Fall Velocity

Scour Fall Velocity

Scour Fall Velocity

(OP)
I am doing some scour calculations for a new bridge project and I am having an issue calculating the Live Bed Scour. I have all the necessary data from the HEC-RAS model we ran except for the fall velocity.

On prior projects I was able to use Figure 6.8 from HEC-18 but for this project my D50 size is outside the limits of applicability for this chart (D50 = 44.3 mm). I know there are equations for fall velocity which take into account drag coefficient and Reynolds number and all that jazz but I was wondering if there is another chart like the one provided in HEC-18 for larger particles?

Or, does anyone have any experience or guidance for me with this issue?
