NX 8.0 CAM: Chip Control When Boring

(OP)
Hola!
The Chip Control function when grooving has been a life saver.
I'm machining some gummy aluminum and no matter what I try with my speeds and feeds I cannot break the chips. My coworker is forced to pause the machine to manually pullout long ribbons of aluminum.
When using the Rough Bore ID operation there is no Chip Control fucntion in the Cutting Paramaters (like when using Rough Grooving).
However, within Options > Customize Dialog, Chip Control is a selectable Item to add. However, when I add it and select Preview, it will not appear in the Preview.

Is there anyway to use Chip Control it when boring?
