Holes in line
Holes in line
(OP)
Wondering how to call this out within rules allowed by 1994 14.5. I have a long 2 inch thick plate with a 1" tall groove machined all along one edge. This provides a long clevis to allow for pinning a lug at thru hole pairs (positions) that are 2" apart. I want the holes dia .250-.251 and inline by dia .0005. I can allow +/- .030 for each hole pair relative to its basic position. But if I use a composite callout to get the inline requirement it will put a hole pair to hole pair tolerance of .0005 which is not required and excessive. How can I call out 30 such hole pairs with a single callout if possible. thanks!

2) You can put "#X INDIVIDUALLY" (# = quantity of paired holes) before the composite callout, followed by 2X and the composite control, then "SEP REQT" under the callout.
