Automatic updates of NX software

Automatic updates of NX software

Automatic updates of NX software

(OP)
Is there an automatic update anywhere for NX software? I know most other CAD packages have this option, and it is a pain to download off the ftp site to get the latest.

Thanks,

Linda

RE: Automatic updates of NX software

I personally hate automatic updates of software...
If it ain't broke, -don't fix it...

No, there is no such option for NX as of what i know today.

Seriously speaking, if I am content with the software i am running and it doesn't crash on what i use it for, i see no need to update apart from new versions/ added functionality.
I mean, One needs to constantly update Windows due to newfound security holes, but that is not the case with a CAD system where updates are bug fixes, not security.

Regards,
Tomas

You can however contact GTAC and request that you be automatically mailed 'Software Field Bulletins' which will inform you of any available updates which you may wish to download and install.
