help: adjustable corner

help: adjustable corner

(OP)
Hello, I found difficulties in adjustment in the corner thick as 15mm and more ... if you like it what is the basic principle for a clean corner....

Machine : AMADA FO-3015 ( Fanuc series 160i-L)

RE: help: adjustable corner

The basic principal is that you slow the cutting process in a corner.
When cutting faster, the cut sweeps back from the top to the bottom of the plate.
When you cut fast around a corner, the 'sweep' can't follow, and you get a mess.

The parameters determine:
- what angle of a corner to slow down for
- how far away from the corner to slow down
- what speed and power settings to use when going slow
- (maybe) how far away from the corner to speed up.

Do you have the original parameters for the machine?
Can you contact Amada's applications group?

(I think Amada still has application groups in the US, no idea about other parts of the world)
Cheers
Jay
