SAP2000 API coupled with MATLAB - Plastic Hinges

SAP2000 API coupled with MATLAB - Plastic Hinges

(OP)
Hi guys,

I am using the API feature of SAP2000 coupling it with MATLAB. I am currently trying to define the Displacement control parameters of a plastic hinge (which you can manually do through: Define -> Section Properties -> Hinge Properties -> Displacement Control Parameters -> modify the graph and enter values for scaling) as well as assign a plastic hinge and view 'hinge resutls' through the API.

However I cannot find out a function to do this. I have already looked in the manual but I was unable to find anything. It seems that API is unable to define such information and correct me if I am wrong.

I would greatly appreciate any help, thanks in advance!

As far as I know, I can also confirm that. I did not manage to assign hinge properties manually using the API...
