Dear All,
In COMPRESS if any exemptions for MDMT as mentioned in UG-20(f), UCS-66.1 and UCS-68(c is "checked" in ASME Code window then after running, for example in case of Body Flanges, it mentions "UCS-66(b)(1)(b) has been applied".
I understand that for Body Flanges, the shell/neck welding is considered for Impact Testing requirement as per Fig. UCS-66.3 (c).
Questions is why COMPRESS mentions this clause even if MDMT exemption has not been taken.
