standard snap settings for commands

(OP)
Is there a way to set standard snap settings when executing any particular command?

For instance...when I select an ordinate dimension that I need to edit the association, I ALWAYS want the "snap to arc center" and/or the "snap to endpoint" to be active and all others OFF. But for some reason, my installation of NX (NX 8.03.4 by the way) really thinks I ALWAYS want to associate an ordinate dimension to "snap to tangent". Well after giving it a few minutes to think about how often I DO want to associate an ordinate to a tangent point...hmmm... Ok..I thought about it...almost never! And this goes for most dimension commands. I want to be able to set snap setting that makes sense per command. Any help would be appreciated.

NX 6.05.3/7.5.5/8.0
