Changing transparency of a body created by KF in KF module

(OP)
Hi all,
Subject tells it all really! I have a solid which is created with Knowledge Fusion (its an extrusion of a profile created by manipulating some inputs into a User interface). I'd like to set the transparency of that solid within the Knowledge Fusion module but I can't seem to find a class that lets me do this, any ideas?
I've used ug_body to set a colour but can't find anythink to make the part say 25% transparent.
On a similar note, can anyone suggest any good reading material/active forums on Knowledge Fusion?

Many thanks

Neal
