dear all,

I have 1 question here about unlisted material according to aws d1.1..is it S355jr and S355j2 is the same of unlisted material...because my WPS is s355jr and the actual production is s355j2... So can i proceed using the s355jr wps.

Thank you.

Regards,

RE: unlisted material according to AWS D1.1

When qualifying an unlisted material per D1.1, you cannot substitute a material grade other than that qualified. Any change in base metal from the one qualified is an essential variable.

Unless the material is certified as such, yes, you should requalify.
