PMI display in views problem

PMI display in views problem

PMI display in views problem

(OP)
Working in model views, PMI, I want to make dimensions and annotations visible in other selected views. Usually this works by selecting the annotation then:
Display
in Views
here you select the other views that you want these to appear.

However, lately we see an error message that pops up saying:

Error recovery...
An attempt was made to free an object that had already been freed.

Anyone know how to fix this in NX 6?

"Anyone know how to fix this in NX 6?"

Perhaps it's time to upgrade to a more current version of NX.

RE: PMI display in views problem

Where you ever able to find a solution? I am experiencing the same issue.

RE: PMI display in views problem

With 7 there was a maintenance pack that was put out that solved an issue similar to this. I'd first check to make sure you have the most current maintenance packs and the other attempt to fix is to shut the part down and reopen, sometimes that will fix a glitch.

Yes, shutting down and reopening usually clears the problem. No one at my work including the designated NX support guru knows how to fix this. Seems to happen more often when I start with a large assembly file and from there make a component the displayed part. If just opening that single part file in a fresh session, less likely to happen.
