I have a complex shape on my hands that is giving me trouble, see attached pictures and file:

and the solidworks part file is also attached. I just cant seem to get the right lofted cut, thanks in advance for the help...

Try: Select the face, add a sketch with the lines, go to the mold toolbar, split-line, then delete the face.

Are Cut-Sweep1 and Cut-Sweep2 supposed to be different? Could one not be mirrored to create the other?
Why aren't your sketches constrained?

The sides are supposed to be different, although i will make them the same when i finish playing with it.
What do you mean by constrained? Ive never delt with constraining sketches before

If you have never dealt with sketch constraints then you would benefit tremendously from going through the SolidWorks tutorials (Help -> Tutorials).

I suggest you work through the online tutorials, and read the Help files on sketching.
