Hi all, I have a steel plate with 4 bolt locations that i have modelled woth rbe2 elements. The loading is at a distance on a lug again modelled by rbe2 at cg of bolts.

I have constrained the rbe2 bolt locations in 3 dof. I applied a load of 1000n in X direction. According to conventional method the constraints in X direction must be 1000/4= -250N in each bolt loaction. But i obtain very high amount of load in Y direction as well.

I need to correlate FEM and Hand Calculations.
