Strange behaviour from Basic Motion model

Hi,

Anybody using the Basic Motion simulator?

Not impressed so far.

My parts just seem to ignore contact pairings and at times fly off their housings (even though properly constrained & with no contact clashes) for no aparent reason!

Thanks that was very helpful.

Its a great tool but its a little temperamental. You have to have quite a high sampling rate (they call it Frame Rate) to solve the contacts but if you use too high a value it becomes just as unstable as using too low a value!
