Interface modules

Interface modules

(OP)
Hi All:
I just do the control system design not long, I am very confused about those digital interface modules.
What is the difference between digital fusible interface modules and digital relay interface model? Can they replace each other?
Thanks for the help.

RE: Interface modules

Also another question, what is external relay module?
I am very confused about those PLC wiring system , terminal blocks, and interconnection , are there any books or references related to those which I can read?
Thanks for the help.

RE: Interface modules

You have to clarify what modules you are asking about, in both questions.
It sounds like not about PLC modules, or your terminology is very incorrect.

Thanks for your reminder, xyzz,
I use AB control wiring system, I see the manual here,
About digital interface modules (IFMS), it has different types: digital interface modules (IFMs) Feed-through; digital interface modules (IFMs) LED-indicating; digital interface modules (IFMs) fusible ; digital interface modules(XIMs) Relay.
What is the difference about those modules and where should they use for ?
Thanks for the help.
