Drafting Parameters

Drafting Parameters

(OP)
Hello, I have created a drafting dwg template and created paramaters that are linked to a text box. I can access the parameters from the tree and put in the "user parameters" I wish to appear on the designated text box that I linked it to. My problem is that I have a couple of drawings were I used a different sheet background without any "user parameters". I can import the sheet background from the new template I created into my drawings but the "user parameters" do not transfer through. I can copy and paste them into the draings but the link between the "user parameter" and text box is lost. Is there a way were I can bring in this new template into my drawings. If I copy and paste the Views from my drawing I lose their linking positions as well. For instance, the projection view attribute is lost. The left view acts independent of the front, they are no longer projected. Thanks to anybody who can help.
