PLC cabinet layout
PLC cabinet layout
(OP)
Hi All
I'm a new member on this forum and just do the control system design not long, now I am working on the layout of PLC cabinet,
For PLC panel, digital input (DI) has 13 cards (each card has 16 points), digital output (DO) has 6 cards (each card has 16 points), and analog input (AI) has 2 cards ( each AI has 6 points). There is no analog output in this panel.
I have two questions here are not clear.
1. One question about providing the RTU with the external/ output relay modules , we use Allen-bradley, the module number is 1492-XIM120-8R, the size of this terminal block is : 6.30 x 3.27 x2.78 (inch).
So how to calculate the number of 1492-XIM120-8R terminal blocks which fit my needs?
2. About breaker terminal blocks, how to calculate the number of breaker terminal blocks which I need?
Really hope to get some tips if anyone is clear about this, thanks for the help.

FZ-C15/1-NA (Moeller), FAZ-C5/1-NA (Moeller), and 1492-GS1G030 (Allen-bradley).
How to calculate the number for those breaker terminal blocks? Is that DI use one type breaker TB, DO use one type of breaker TB, and AI and AO use another one breaker TB?
Thanks for the help.

Usually get your count of how many terminal blocks just by counting the terminals in your electrical prints, whether this is a automated or manual count for your bom.
