Temperature Elements (TW, TE & TI's)
Temperature Elements (TW, TE & TI's)
(OP)
Hey guys,
Please can you tell me the difference between these 3 TW, TE & TI's, I'm confused a little and I'd like to know why to install these 3 guys together.
I know it could be a very basic question but I think is better to have the right answer than keep it.
Thanks.

RE: Temperature Elements (TW, TE & TI's)
I'll make a stab at this.
TI = Temperature Indicator
TE = Temperature element
TW = Thermowell.
I've been using cryogenic thermometers of one sort or another for 20 years and for the life of me cannot see how these three acronyms tell me anything specific about a device.
Can you shed some more light as to the nature of the devices you have to install?
(ie, are they thermistors, thermocouples, diodes, etc.)
Cheers;

Though I guess you could call it the TE, but you need to know what it is.
