Does anyone know the correct procedure for field cutting spiral wound PVC to keep it from unraveling?

RE: spiral wound pvc

I see you have gotten no response to your inquiry. It could be most folks are sort of scratching their heads like me trying to figure out exactly where you are coming from. More info might help. Are you saying there has been some sort of effort to cut the pipe and it unraveled, or is trying to unravel along the spirals, or is someone just worried it might do this just looking at the spiral structure? (I understand from a practical standpoint the need to "cut pipes to suit in the field" (ctsif))
