Cumulated Dimensions

Cumulated Dimensions

Cumulated Dimensions

(OP)
I am a relatively new Catia user and I have a question regarding cumulative dimensions.
If I enter a whole string of cumulative dimensions, or as I like to call them, ordinate dimensions,
I cannot pick just one to add a specific tolerance to or to modify. They will all select and all of them will
have that particular tolerance. Instead of adding these dimesnions one-by-one, is there a way to do this.
I am using Catia V5 R18 and I have yet to see in any manual how to get around this.
Thank you in advance for any help.

RE: Cumulated Dimensions

Hi,

Probably it is too late but better later than never :)
In Drawing workbench you have a Toolbar named Tools and here you have the Command named Dimension system selection mode
When this option it is active then every thing that you want to modify will be made for all dimensions.

When this option it is tuned Off like in my picture, then you can apply tolerance only for that ones that you want. But I recommend that after you finish with applying tolerances to activate again this option, otherwise when you will try to move all the dimensions together , will not be possible till you make it active.

I hope that all are clear now.
