Dear chemical engineers,,

Can somebody please give me some examples of industrial processes that are well described by the following type of reactions (beside the alkylation of butene with isobutane)?

1. A + B -> P DH1 < 0
2. A + P -> R DH2 < 0

is the heat of reaction (both reactions are exothermic)

Acetylene + H2 --> Ethylene + H2 --> Ethane
